South Dublin. RETNS wildlife garden. 40x11m. Heavily waterlogged area. Solution was to go “ancient” – constructing a Gaelic Crannog! We elevated all required elements, leaving enough clearance for possible future flooding i.e. children dry and safe to roam around and study in nature.
Outdoor classroom (amphitheatre for 40-60 pupils), forest pathway, willow hut, pond, five different planting areas, small dolmen and an ogham stone.
